LuDell Glover Naef, 77, returned to be with her husband and sons on Dec. 31, 2013, at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 21, 1936, in Lewiston, Utah, the daughter of William Howard and Addie Wheeler Glover. She married Raymond DeVerl Naef on Dec. 29, 1952, in Mapleton, Idaho. In 1962, their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple.
She enjoyed quilting, handiwork, mountains, camping, gardening and drives with grandpa. She looked forward to any gathering that involved her brothers, sisters, kids and grandkids.
She is survived by four sons and one daughter, Richard D. (Geneva) Naef of Bothwell, Utah; Donald S. (Jodie) Naef of Logan, Utah; Linda (Jeff) Acock of Preston, Idaho; David J. (Kimberly) Naef of Preston, Idaho; Scott D. (Krista) Naef of Dysart, Iowa; by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren; by a brother, James "Con" (Mary) Glover of Kingman, Arizona; a sister, BarDee (Jay) Gregory of Sunset, Utah; a brother, Devon (Mary Anne) Glover of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and by a brother-in-law, Robert Egbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Naef; by two sons, Raymond Leon and Orin Clair Naef; by her parents, by a sister, Benetta Egbert and by a brother, Wendell Glover.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mapleton Ward Chapel with Bishop Stuart Burbank conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
