Loene B. Robinson
1929 - 2009
RICHMOND, Utah - Loene B. Robinson, our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on March 11, 2009, to join her eternal companion, Louis Robinson.
She was born June 21, 1929 in Richmond, Utah to Grant and Nellie Bagley. She lived in Richmond all of her life.
Loene married Louis on Sept. 2, 1947, in the Logan LDS Temple. From this union came three children. Together Loene and Louis owned and operated Robinson's Service Station in Richmond until they retired in the summer of 1994 after 39 years.
Loene had a passion for music. She loved playing the piano and organ. She enjoyed dancing, camping and spending time with friends and family. She loved and cared for many pets. She loved to cook and looked forward to Sunday family gatherings. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She served in various ward callings. In her later years, Loene was a temple worker in the Logan Temple.
Loene was kind, compassionate and loving to all who knew her. Her family always came first and she took great pride in their accomplishments.
She is survived by her mother, Nellie; her children, David (Lynette) Robinson, Lynette R. Lewis, all of Richmond, Utah; Grant (Jeri Jean) Robinson of Washington Terrace, Utah; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, her brother, Richard (Lillie Lu) Bagley of Richmond, Utah; and Lu Ann (David) Monson of Clearfield, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her father Grant and her husband Louis.
Services will be held at noon Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Richmond 2nd Ward Chapel, 150 S. 100 East. Family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Webb Funeral Home in Preston.
