Linda Sue John Hollingsworth

Amarillo, Texas - Linda John Hollingsworth, 66, Passed away peacefully with her loving family and friends around her on Wednesday June 03, 2015. She was born on March 23, 1949 to Alvin DuWayne and Ruby Lovisa Byington John. She married Bud Harris Hollingsworth on October 15, 1966 in Malad, Idaho.

Linda was a member of the LDS 3rd ward church in Preston, ID.  In her spare time she would crochet or do crafts, she also loved being around her grandchildren and family because they made her smile.

She is survived by her loving children Vylinda (Jay) stark, Cherry (Charlie) Higgs, and Bud John (Sarah) Hollingsworth, her grandchildren Cierra Higgs and Christian Jay Stark. Her Brother Duwayne (Juanita) John, Patsy McIntire, and Roylene Lange. Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband Bud Harris Hollingsworth, her grandson Braxton Higgs. Her parents Alvin Duwayne, Ruby Lovisa , her three sisters Darlene, Carol Davis, Beverly Coburn, also her brother Doyle John.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
