Ogden, Utah Linda Nuffer Laws Linda Nuffer Laws, 54, loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 at her home in Ogden surrounded by loving family. She fought with courage and strength but lost the 2 year battle with lung cancer and finally a brain tumor.She was born January 12, 1954 to Leon and Elaine Nuffer in Preston, Idaho. She lived in Dayton and worked on the family farm where she gained a strong work ethic. Linda graduated from West Side High School. After high school she moved to Ogden, Utah. She married Lloyd Laws and later divorced. She had 1 child, Cameron. They are now reunited after a short time apart. She worked for Utah Legal Services for 33 years. She made many lasting friendships with those she worked with. She enjoyed helping people. Many lives were helped for good because of the love she had for them.She loved her grandson Dylan very much. He brought great joy and happiness to her. She looked forward to his visits. She was so sorry she had to cancel their visit last Saturday. She had a great love for her animals, she especially loved her 4 cats, Jasper, Clover, Charlie, Jem and her dog Buddy.She also loved spending time with her family. Her favorite game was Pictionary and 99.Linda is survived by her grandson Dylan Laws, 4 sister and 1 brother. Vicki (Larry ) Edgar, Annie (Larry ) Lopez, Deon, Valerie (Ed) Barson and Fred (Becky) Nuffer. She was precede in death by her parents, sister Jane and son Cameron.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho (109 East Oneida St.). Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the Funeral Home and on Saturday from Noon to 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Ali-Ben Jacobs and his staff at the Logan Cancer Center for all their kindness and help. She loved and enjoyed the many friends she made during her visits here.
