LeeAnn Fryar Burnett

LeeAnn Fryar Burnett, 59, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. LeeAnn was born on May 29, 1955 to Allen and Nadine Fryar in Preston, Idaho. Two years later she was blessed to have a younger brother David Fryar.

LeeAnn spent the first twelve years of her life with her family in Murray, Utah. She grew up being involved in neighborhood plays with all of her friends. She loved to sing and dance. She loved to come visit her Grandma Fryar in Preston and get into her jewelry box and play dress up. She played "dress ups" the rest of her life. Her family moved to Preston in 1968 where she would finish her schooling at Preston High School. She was active in student council and served as Social Vice President her senior year. During her senior year she was engaged to her sweetheart Carl Burnett and they were married on July 21, 1972. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. Their marriage was blessed with three children; Dustin, Ryan, and Lindsay. LeeAnn enjoyed many activities with family and friends such as boating, camping, and Christmas parties, sporting events, dance and music recitals and being the life of the party.

LeeAnn loved to served and socialize with the others and this was demonstrated through her many years of employment at Franklin County Nursing Home, Sprouse Reitz, Ransoms Country Store, and loved her time spent as a Phi-Del advisor. She loved people and supporting family members in all their activities. She will be remembered by her loud cheers, whistles and the ultimate siren.

In recent years she has enjoyed supporting her husband in his passion of horse racing. This last year she got her dream car, a black convertible mustang. Enjoying many hours with the top down enjoying the stars and the fresh air.

She loved her Heavenly Father and depended on him for strength and comfort. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in different callings throughout her life.

LeeAnn is survived by her husband Carl, three children Dustin (Tina) Burnett; Ryan (Angie) Burnett; and Lindsay. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild and a brother  David (Tina) Fryar. She was preceded in death by her parents.
