CLIFTON, IDAHO LEE SANT

CLIFTON- Lee Alameda Barney Sant, 86, passed away on Nov. 20, 2011. She was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Santa Ana, California, the daughter of Robert Thomas and Elzora (Annie) Smith Barney. She graduated from Alexandria High School in Culver City, California in May of 1942. She attended a semester at UCLA.

She sang with the Norma Barker Orchestra with the USO during World War II. She also performed on many stages and over the radio. She worked on the Rationing Board located in Culver City.

She married Franklin Parley Sant on Nov. 14, 1949, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized on Nov. 21, 1959, in the Logan Temple.

She is survived by three children, Claudia Anne (Milo) Smart of Lehi, Utah; Timothy Franklin (Deliliah) Sant of Wellsville, Utah; Thomas Bradley (Laurie) Sant of Santaquin, Utah; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Dennis Anderson of Hyrum, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; by a daughter, Linda Lee Sant Anderson; and by a granddaughter, Jessica Anne Smart Newby.

The family would like to thank the Clifton Idaho Second Ward for the many years of unrecognized, patient care of their mother. They would also like to thank Hospice of Utah and the staff at Greenwood Manor for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Clifton Second Ward Chapel. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Clifton Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
