LaWana Morse

LaWana Wells Morse, 84, passed away Aug. 20, 2016 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho.  She was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Preston, Idaho the youngest of seven children of Robert and Maud Kirby Wells of Treasureton, Idaho.  Her parents preceded her in death along with her son, Kim Morse.  She has two remaining sons, Brent Morse and DeVor Morse of Preston and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She has a great zest for life along with her witty personality that kept us always amused throughout our time with her.  She had a great love for her family and a deep desire to live for as long as she could so she could be with them.  She loved to care for her roses and was happy to show them off to anyone that visited. 

To our beloved mother, there will never be a day we don’t think of you and miss you and wish you were here.  We want to thank everyone at the Franklin County Medical Center, the nursing home and Home Care for all the kindness they showed our mother throughout her illness.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho.  Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary.  Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
