Laurie Mae Goudy

Laurie Mae Hufeld Goudy, 54, passed away peacefully at her home in Franklin Idaho after a battle with cancer. She was born on November 5, 1962 in Torrance, California to Melvin Clifford and Barbara Louise Dougarty Hufeld. She married Bradley John Goudy on June 7, 1998 in Henderson, Nevada.

She loved the outdoors and always found it peaceful to spend time there. She adored her grandchildren and was always giving and helping others around her. She loved HSN and QVC and tv shopping in general. Laurie was an amazing friend, mother, wife and grandmother. She was also a hippie who was in love with tye-dye.

Laurie is survived by her husband Bradley, of Franklin, ID; her children Naomi (CJ) Rindlisbacher, of Cottage Grove, OR; and a son Jeremiah (Arielle) Shaffer, of Kaysville, UT; and five grandchildren, Carson Anderson, Taylor Patereau, Skylar Patereau, and Jaxson Rindlisbacher, and Haiden Jeremiah Rindlisbacher. She was preceded in death by her parents and Barbara and father Roger Bible and her grandmother Dolly.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston. A viewing will be held on Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from 2:00-2:45 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
