THATCHER, IDAHO - - LANAE HOLYOAK
THATCHER- LaNae Green Cooper Holyoak, 81, returned home on Friday, April 29, 2011, at her residence in Thatcher, Idaho. She was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Mt. Sterling, Utah, the daughter of Heber Parker and Nora Leishman Green Cooper.
She married Gilbert Oral Holyoak on Sept. 28, 1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She enjoyed hard work and to see a job well done. She worked side by side her husband in the service of their family, church and others. Her Christlike life is a treasured example to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert, of Thatcher; three daughters and two sons, Janet Marie (Merlin) Anderson of Dillon, Montana; Carolyn (Larry) Forsgren of Preston, Idaho; Gilbert "Reed" (Lili) Holyoak of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Marilyn (Shawn) Knutson of Treasureton, Idaho; James Daniel "Jamie" (Andrea) Holyoak of Thatcher; thirty-seven grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren, by a son-in-law, Edwin Maughan of Ronan, Montana; a sister, Beth (Glen) Hobbs of Benson, Utah and by a brother, Eldon (Arlene) Cooper of Mt. Sterling, Utah. She was preceded in death by a daughter, LaReta Holyoak Maughan; by her parents; by two brothers, Merrill Green Cooper and Heber Farrell Cooper and by a sister, Reta Green Cooper Kershaw.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new location, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho with President Dennis Manhart conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Thatcher, Idaho Cemetery.
