Krista Lynn Peart

We are so saddened by the loss of our beloved Krista Lynn Peart, age 28. Krista was involved in a pedestrian/auto accident in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, October 26 , 2013 and died from massive head trauma. Krista was born on August 2, 1985 in Logan, Utah. Her parents are Blair Willard Peart and Ruth Knapp Peart.

Krista spent most of her growing up in Preston Idaho in the beautiful canyon of cub river. She graduated from Preston high school in 2003. Krista also attended Utah State University and has lived in Logan, Utah for the past 10 years. Krista was also able to have an incredible experience volunteering in Ecuador in an orphanage and lived in Orem for a time too.

Krista was a vivacious, intelligent and beautiful person. It is hard to find the words to describe Krista's love and passion for humanity and her desire to serve those around her. She was a true example of loving people for who they were and always found the best in them. Krista loved nature, camping, hiking, music concerts, hand-made crafts and cooking with fresh locally grown foods. She loved horses and dogs and enjoyed training them. Krista also loved to care for children and spent many hours with her nephews and niece.

Krista was a vital part in her nephew Jonah's upbringing and life. She was like a second mother to him and lived with her sister Polly and Jonah almost consistently since she graduated from high school. Krista encouraged Jonah in his sports, helped him with school and homework and was always there for him. Jonah loved being with Krista.

Krista had a talent and passion for caring for people with special needs and has worked with them for the past 8 years and just recently started her own company, solace residential with her sister Polly. Krista loved the ladies that they cared for and always strived to give them the best life possible.
Krista was constantly searching for truth, genuine information and inspiration. She was a passionate person and was always working on being her best self. She was a shining light in our family and to her friends and will be so missed but we know she will continue on with her dreams and will be with us in spirit. Krista was extremely close to all of her family members and we are so thankful to have so many memories of her and will always cherish and remember the lessons she taught us about what it means to be truly Christ-like.

Krista was preceded in death by her two loving grandpa's- Kenneth Porter Knapp and Roger W Peart. We are sure that they are with Krista and were there to greet her. Krista is survived by her father Blair Peart and his wife Dody; mother Ruth K Peart; older brother Jake, his wife Rachel and their five boys Talmage, Eli, Seth, tad and Gideon; older sister Polly and her son Jonah; older brother Mckelly, his wife Sarah and their three children Ammon, Chell and Jamis; younger sister Kelsy Mcwhinnie and her husband JD. Krista is also survived by her two wonderful grandma's Charlene G. Knapp and Ivy C. Peart. Krista also survived many aunts, uncles and cousins.
