Kathryn Burbank Patton

Kathryn Burbank Patton, 71, passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at her home in Mapleton, Idaho. She was born on February 27, 1944 in Fairview, Idaho to Alvaro G. and Veneta Bodily Burbank. She married Charlie Patton on October 22, 1987 in Coventing, Kentucky. Charlie passed away on August 18, 1992.

Kathryn loved the outdoors and enjoyed the beauty she saw every day. She always loved watching the wild life at her home. She served an LDS mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kathryn was always serving those around her however she could. She loved cooking and traveling to new and different places.

She is survived by her daughter Lesa Ricks, of Logan, Utah; her siblings DeVere (LaRue) Burbank, of Mapleton, ID; Sharon Nelson, of Richmond, UT; Lynn (Bonnie) Burbank, of Mapleton; Alan (Joan) Burbank, of Mapleton; Dan (Vondella) Burbank, of Mapleton, and Anneta (Layne) Sharples, of Spring Creek, NV; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charlie, and a brother-in-law Ted Nelson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Mapleton LDS Chapel, 5307 East Cub River Rd in Preston. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Mapleton Cemetery.
