Katherine Elizabeth Kennedy Wynne
Katherine Elizabeth Kennedy Wynne returned to her Heavenly home on December 19, 2009 in Logan Regional Hospital.
She was born May 24, 1924 in Ogden, Ut. to Carl John Kennedy and Algie McKinnon. She married Wayne C. Wynne. Together they raised 4 Children. They later they divorced.
Kay enjoyed working, and worked most of her life. She retired at the ripe age of 83 years old from the Box Elder County Courthouse. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a teacher, a Relief Society President, and a Young Women's President.
She loved service and not a week went by where she wasn't taking dinner or cookies to someone else. She loved to serve others and was a wonderful example to her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. She reveled in the presence of her family, especially her great grandkids, who refer to her as "Grandma Great." She loved her children's friends, and considered them hers throughout her life. She loved to shop, go out to eat, and never left her house without her lipstick on. The past two years she has resided in Pioneer Valley Lodge in Logan, Ut. Where she made many dear friends.
She is survived by her brother Max Kennedy. Her Four loving children, Diana Elkins (George), Kennith Mar Wynne (Lynne), Linda Johnson (Mike), Brenda Burton (Jim). Her 16 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Algie Kennedy and her son Wayne C. Wynne.
Services will be held at Mount Lewis 4th Ward, at 550 East 900 in North Ogden, Utah, Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 12-12:45 p.m. at the church. The services will be presided over by Bishop Robert Chris. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.

We would like to thank Dr. David Faux for his sincere kindness for our family during this tender time. We would also like to thank the staff at Logan Regional Hospital who treated her with dignity and cared for her like she was their own family.
