Karl Richard Becker

Karl Richard Becker, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2017 in the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho. He was born on July 28, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Robert Morse and Helen Garles Becker. He grew up in Brigham City, Utah where he attended school and graduated from Brigham High School. He later settled in Preston, Idaho.

After graduation he became a machinist and was employed as a machinist since 1979. He had a love for cats and had many cats that he cared for and treated like family. Karl had a life-long passion for trains and loved learning and studying them.

He is survived by his cousins Susan Becker (Daniel Taylor), of Sheridan, WY; and Dorothy (Bill) Monahan, of Belle Fouche, SD; his best friend Mike Cunningham, and his good neighbors Tracy and Lylene Bodily. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen.
