Kaitlyn Sara Sleight

Kaitlyn Sara Sleight or Kaitlyn Isabella Sara Sleight as she called herself, 20, passed away May 2, 2017.  Heaven has truly been blessed to receive such a beloved angel.  Kaitie was born November 10, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Steven Daniel Sleight and Susan Tracy Churms Curtis. 

Her beautiful soul was evident from the moment she was born. She grew up to become not only a talented dancer, but an inspiration to all who’s live she touched.  Her charismatic smile could light up the darkest hour. She brought joy and love to innumerable folks whenever she performed.  Her quick wit and sense of adventure made for many crazy entertaining times.  Kaitie knew her own dark paths and was still able to reach out and help others while she was struggling herself.  She truly was an example of how, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass-it’s about learning to dance in the rain”.  She’ll be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Kaitie is survived by her parents Steven Sleight and Susan Curtis, her step father Jody Curtis, her sister Karen (Ryan) Crappa, her brother David Sleight, her brother Donny Curtis, and countless others that adored her.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Sleight.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston Third Ward Chapel, 155 N. 2nd W., Preston, Idaho.  Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
