Preston, Idaho - - - Juanita T. Jamison
Preston - Juanita Ellen Talbot Jamison, 86, passed away Wendesday, August 8, 2012 at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho. She was born on November 13, 1925 in Winder, Idaho to Clarence Earl Talbot and Mary Elizabeth Taylor. She married Don Edward Jamison on October 21, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced.
Juanita loved handwork, especially quilting, crocheting and embroidery. She was a hard worker and loved spending time gardening and doing yard work. She enjoyed dancing. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived in Lewiston, Ogden, and has been in Preston since 2004.
She is survived by her children Edward (Jolene) Jamison, of Ogden, UT; Maxine (Joseph Jr.) Ferdo, of Lucas, TX; Glen (Jill) Jamison, of Preston, ID; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, sisters Goldie Roskelley, of Ogden, UT; Maggie (Ivan) Howell, of Ogden, UT; Blanch Pyper, of Ogden, UT; and a brother Lavern (Margaret) Talbot, of Preston, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ramona Rasmussen, and Lola Talbot, and brothers Dale Talbot, and Ivan Talbot.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston with Bishop Doug Roper conducting. A viewing will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, and Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
