Jeffery William Hollingsworth

Jeffery William Hollingsworth, 57 passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Preston at the home of his father after complications of pneumonia. Jeff was born June 1, 1958 in Preston, Idaho to William "Bill) and Maureen Howell Hollingsworth. Jeff grew up in Preston and attended Preston High School where he had many fond memories with friends and classmates. He was a member of the River Riders 4-H group in his youth. He always had a love for a good horse nd owned and trained many of them. Jeff was full of energy his entire life and traveled the entire country looking for adventure and his next construction job.

Jeff married Melanie Winger and together they had four beautiful daughters, Jessica, Jennifer, Heather, and Holly Jo. Jeff and Melanie later divorced. Jeff loved his daughters and spent many hours at the Preston Cemetery after the deaths of Holly Jo, Heather, and Jennifer.

Jeff married his sweetheart Julie Hull on August 7, 2015 in Cub River. Together they have enjoyed family, grandkids, horses, Cub River, and ice cream.

Jeff is survived by his wife Julie, of Preston; daughter Jessica Miller of Ogden, UT; Stepsons Chris (Katie) Barnard, of Soda Springs, ID; and Derek (Chelsi) Barnard of Pocatello, ID; eight grandchildren Chaz Gustin, Shaelynn, Dax, Heather, Holly Miller, Jade Finch, Payson and Layne Barnard, his father Bill (Joyce) Hollingsworth, and Mother Maureen Hollingsworth, a sister, Cyndie (Garth) Jacobson of Weston, Idaho; a brother, Micheal W. Hollingsworth of Preston; and nephews Landon, Luke, Lance Hollingsworth, and a niece Lauren Hollingsworth as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by Melanie Winger and three daughters, and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Preston 10th Ward LDS Chapel, 155 North 200 West in Preston. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, and Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
