Ileene Smith

Ileene Housley Smith, lovingly known as Grandma Bells by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was born in Richmond Utah, Aug 26 1932. She passed away May 7,2017, in Logan, Utah.  She graduated from North Cache High School in 1950.

Ileene married Myrl Cole Smith, January 22,1951 in the Logan Temple. She faithfully served in nearly every organization in the Church. Serving in the temple was her favorite. She retired from Pepperidge Farm in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walden Housley and Norma Charlotte Jensen and Luetta Hiibner, her husband Myrl Cole Smith, and a  grandson Shayne Marcell Pitcher.

Survived by a son Steven Myrl Smith, Richmond Utah and a daughter Joyce Pitcher, Preston. Grandchildren Brenda Pitcher and Nicole Pitcher of Preston, Idaho. Great Grandchildren Chayton and Stetson Pitcher of Richmond, Utah, and a great grandson Brenden Pitcher Preston, Id., Brothers and sisters, LaDon Forsgren Upland Ca., Arva (LeRoy) Westley Mesa,Az., Larry (Lorna) Housley Mesa,Az., Leola (Wynn) Bott College Park Md., Cleon (Virginia) Housley Mesa, Az., Allan ( Karen) Housley Plain City, Ut., Carma Lively Mesa, Az.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at noon in the Richmond Second Ward Chapel, 150 South 1st East, Richmond, Utah.  Friends may call Wednesday from 10-11;30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
