Cleveland Elementary was two rooms and full of learning, teasing, pranks, and mischief. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple on the 9th of June 1952. Homer honorably served our country as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force for over 31 years. He and his family lived in Saudi Arabia, Texas, California, Belgium, Montana, Mountain Home, ID; Thailand, and Samoa. He was known as Roamer by his siblings! He was a part of history flying over the beaches of Normandy as a gunner and bombardier in a B-17 on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
You would never know what an amazing many of leadership and courage Home was unless he told you in one of his fabulous stories. He was handsome beyond words and humble and loving, full of wisdom and compassion. He served in many leadership capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout the world. He and Annie served many missions and loved all people. He especially loved his brothers and sisters and celebrated times they could go fishing and hunting together or just sit down to a meal. He cherished his beautiful grandchildren and treasured his Annie and Christie Ann.
