Preston - Hollie Lynn Kerr passed away unexpectedly in her home May 19, 2012 in Preston, Idaho. Hollie was born to David B. Kerr and Kathleen Nelson Kerr in Preston. Hollie was our lucky girl born 7-7-1977 at 7:57 PM weighing in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. One of her great claims to fame was that newscaster Paul Harvey announced her lucky run of 7's on his nationwide radio show. Hollie graduated from Preston High School. She had a quick mind and a gift for creative writing. Hollie made friends easily. She always made everyone laugh with her sense of humor and her limitless voice imitations. Her laugh was very contagious.
She is survived by her parents, David and Kathleen Kerr, three brothers Jason (Courtney) Kerr, Jordan (Kerry) Kerr, Clayton (Nicole) Kerr, grandmothers Glenda S Nelson of Preston and Shirley F. Kerr of Paso Robles, California, brother-in-law Lloyd Stolworthy of Idaho Falls, Idaho, nephews Taive, Jake and Ty, nieces Leighton and Cassyn and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Randilynn Stolworthy and grandfathers James L. Kerr Jr and Spencer E. Nelson
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012, at 12 p.m. in the Preston 1st/5th/8th Ward building at 213 South 200 East in Preston, Idaho with Bishop Brent Dodge conducting. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston and Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church.
