Hel'Un Mattix

Hel'Un Mattix, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, Decmeber 22, 2017 at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, Utah. She was born on January 16, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to Raymond and Dorothy Perkins Mattix.

Hel'Un graduated high school and worked many different jobs. She worked in the Amalgamated Cheese plant, was the secretary for the Smithfield National Guard and most recently owned and operated a recycling business with her husband Ronald Stowell.

She is survived by her husband Ronald, a son Shirley Young, three stepchildren, and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one sister and two brothers, a daughter Simone and a step son DeVearl Stowell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
