Dayton - Helen Venna Schwartz Robbins, 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Dayton, Idaho surrounded by family. She was born on June 12, 1938 in Dayton Idaho to John and Venna Mae Schvaneveldt Schwartz. She married Hazen Irven Robbins on July 7, 1961 in the Logan LDS Temple. They had five children and they were later divorced.

Mother was a lifelong member of the LDS Church serving in various capacities including primary teacher, relief society teacher, and visiting teacher. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and they adored spending time with her. She especially enjoyed playing games and laughing with them. She loved living in the beautiful Cache Valley and spent her life serving the community there. Mother taught two generations of students over a 38 year career with the West Side School District. She formed lifelong relationships with many of her students who often visited her later. Mother kept busy with all types of hobbies. She enjoyed shopping, camping, snowmobiling, four wheeling, horse riding, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family and visiting others.

She is survived by her children Sandra R. (Abdullah) Qureshi, of San Bernadino, CA; Suzanne (Aaron) Cox, of Preston, ID; Lynette (Michael) Robison, of Salt Lake City, UT; Trisha (Scott) Jensen, of Sandy, UT; and Johnny (Trista) Robbins, of New Meadows, ID; a brother David (Anna) Schwartz, of Bancroft, ID; a sister Nada Jeo of Kearns, UT. She is also survived by seven grandchildren Amber, Will, Kameron, Jessica, Elizabeth, Stephen, and Emily and she was excitedly anticipating the arrival of two more, as well as many loving cousins nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Keith Schwartz, a sister Mae Pugmire, and two brothers-in-law Stuart Pugmire and Idaho Jeo.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dayton LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Dayton Church and Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
