Preston - Helen Lorain Parashis, long time resident of Carson City, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. She was born in Hico, Texas on June 5, 1927. She was married to Robert Parashis who preceded her in death in 1987. Helen loved life and was always smiling. She gave alifetime of compassionate loving service to her disabled grandchildren.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Linda and three grandchildren, Adam, Miles, and Taylor. She is also survived by her sister Alta Steyrer, of Preston; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bob.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new location, 1005 South 800 East in Preston. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
