Heber Lee Lewis

Preston, Idaho - - - H. Lee Lewis

Preston - On January 9, 2013 this world got a little dimmer and the laughter got a little quieter. The light of our lives left this world due to injuries sustained in an automobile and train accident. Heber Lee Lewis, loving husband, father, grandfather. He was born on 6-6-56 in Logan, Utah to Lex and Doree Lewis. Lee lived his life to the fullest which included playing sports which later led to refereeing and umpiring. STARTING projects... he was an excellent cook which led to the fulfillment of one of his dreams opening and running Bubba Louie's.

He graduated from Preston High School in 1975 and later attended college in Boise, Idaho. On September 24, 1976 Lee married his high school sweetheart Diane Drury in the Logan Utah Temple and together they were blessed with their four children LeAnn, Laci, Bubba, and Bailey. Lee had a huge heart and he truly possessed the spirit of Christmas by being Santa.

In the summer time he traded that red coat for black leathers that may have made him look rough and gruff but really he was a gentle giant. He loved to travel and spent many years riding his motorcycle along with "the gang." He enjoyed all things outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping, especially with his family.

Lee is survived by his wife, Diane, of Preston; his children Leann, Laci (Jessie) Smith, Bubba (Kaylee), and Bailey, all of Preston; and grandchildren Tori, Cage, Gaven, Seth, Dominic, Paisley, Riot, and Oaklee, all of Preston; a brother Todd, of Las Vegas, NV; a sister Traci (Doug) Doney, of Boise, ID; by his parents-in-law, Ardis and Tom Rowley of Preston and a brother-in-law JD (Sandy) Drury, of Preston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother-in-law,Dennis Drury, a father-in-law, Alden Drury and by his grandparents.

Not many can say they've done everything, but in 56 years this man did.
