HEATHER HOLLINGSWORTH Heather Hollingsworth died unexplainably on May 18, 2008, while living with her sister, Jessi, in Ogden, Utah. She had just turned 23 on May 9th having been born in Preston, Idaho in 1985 to Melanie Winger and Jeffrey Hollingsworth. She was born with beautiful natural curly hair. People were always asking her where she got that gorgeous perm. Heather was very quick witted and at times would say things that would make everyone laugh. As a toddler, when she'd crack us up she would stomp her feet and say, "I hate laugh ats!" Right from the get go Heather felt very protective of her sisters and parents and was extremely leery around any strangers (which was pretty much everyone). So her mom decided to start nicknaming her "Sunshine" in hopes that she could develop a happier countenance. This worked great (most of the time) and she's always been our sunshine ever since. She loved to draw (including her body art) which she was very proud of. She loved to listen to music. She especially loved babies and longed to be a mother someday. Just over one month ago, she got a horse which she'd longed for all her life. In this last month she'd spent hours brushing her and mainly just being with her Daisy. Most of all, she loved her family, especially feeling protective of her mother. In fact, she felt her mission in life was to protect and take care of her family. She loved family get togethers and felt so especially close to her grams and papa Winger- they were like her second parents. She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Jennifer Gustin and Jessica (Shane) Miller, her Grams and Papa Larry and Beverly Winger, grandmother Maureen Hollingsworth, grandfather Bill Hollingsworth (whom she had a special bond with), great-grandmother Zella Buchanan, two nephews, Chaz Gustin and Daxton Miller, a niece, Shaelynn Miller, aunts, Robyn (Reed) Blau- whom she felt very close to, Laurie Jo (Michael) Earley; and Syndie (Garth) Jacobson; uncles Todd (Georgia) Winger; Michael Hollingsworth; and Shaun Winger (who was her favorite uncle "because he played with her a lot during her younger years"; and many cousins that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her just over one year younger sister, Holly Jo Hollingsworth. Heather we all love you and will miss you greatly. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State St., Preston, with Bishop Richard Swainston conducting.
