Beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather, Glen H. Wood, 78, left us to return to his Heavenly Father on Nov.14, 2011. Glen was born Feb. 19, 1933 to James H. and Alice P. Wood. He married Norma Gehring on Sept 25, 1954 later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Glen enjoyed farming, and had a special love for horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in- law, Jack Wilson. He is survived by wife Norma, sisters Dee Wilson, Lois (Jerry) Webster, and brother Frank (Sheila) Wood, four daughters, Vickie (Paul) Solmonsen, Lori (Robert) Beckstead, Shellie (Brian) Lee, Terri (Stewart) Gates, 11 grandchildren, and by 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Thurs. Nov 17, 2011 at the Maples Bldg. Church house, 6592 W Maple Haven Dr. West Jordan, Utah. Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Redwood Memorial Estates. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
