Frank C. Profaizer

Frank Camilo Profaizer passed away on 27 March 2013 while at the Sunshine Terrace Nursing Home in Logan, Utah. Frank was born 9 January 1917 to Mother Lucille Adele Bertagnolli and Father Charles Profaizer in Superior, Wyoming. Frank's Father passed away when Frank was only eleven years old which gave him the opportunity to grow physically and mentally tough. His claim in life was never having lost a fight, yet with his family he never used that strength to discipline his children. His love for his wife Adelia was everlasting and they worked together to raise six sons.
- Frank married Salina Cascio and had one daughter, Barbara Lucille Profaizer. They later divorced. Frank then married Adelia Lapray the love of his life. Adelia brought two sons to their marriage and together they had one daughter who died in infancy and four sons. After Adelia passed away in 1988 Frank married Della Egley. Frank became a widower again when Della passed away on 25 July 2010.
- After Frank's Father passed away, his widowed Mother moved the family to a small farm on Wilson Lane in Ogden, Utah to be close to her brother. There, Frank learned to love farming where he worked many hours to help his Mother support the family. He would eventually purchase a truck with his brother Charles to haul produce from Ogden to Rock Springs and Superior Wyoming. This began another love of being a truck driver. Before World War II he worked as a carpenter helping build the massive buildings at the Defense Depot Ogden and then during the war he worked at the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield overseeing 60 plus men to ship supplies to the coast in support of the war. Frank engineered a device to hold partial loads in place while the trains were moved from one warehouse to another which was later mass produced by the Stanley tool company and still used today. After the war he went back to being a truck driver while raising his family on small farms.
- Frank loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors his entire life. He moved his family from Wilson Lane to Hooper and then to Roy and Farr West Utah. To give the family more room to grow they moved to a larger farm in Preston, Idaho and he would eventually retire to a small home in Weston, Idaho and after the death of Adelia to a home in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.
- Frank is survived by his children Richard L. Cope (Pat) of Kingman AZ, Barbara Profaizer Winkler of San Jose CA., Frank C. Profaizer JR (LeAnna) of Layton UT., Douglas R. Profaizer (Janet) of Hyde Park UT., Robert D. Profaizer (Gayle) of Tremonton UT., and Charles J. Profaizer (Tammy) of Logan UT. His posterity includes 32 Grandchildren, 69 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
- He is preceded in death by his wives Adelia Lapray and Della Egley, children Gary B. Cope and Patricia Adelia Profaizer, Parents and Siblings.
- The family would like to thank the staff and many caregivers of Sunshine Terrace for the love and concern given to Frank. They have been there to make his life comfortable and be his attending angels until he was called home to a grand reunion in the spirit world.
- Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 30 March 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the LDS church in Weston Idaho with a viewing from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the services. Interment will be at the Weston Idaho cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Webb Funeral Home of Preston Idaho. Condolences may be given online at www.webbmortuary.com
