PRESTON, IDAHO - - FAY W. BENNETT

PRESTON- Fay Weeks Bennett, 92, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at the Heritage Home in Preston, Idaho. She was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Grace, Idaho, the daughter of Robert Riches and Sarah Lovisa Kelsey Weeks. She married Jerome Bennett on March 16, 1942, in Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized on April 12, 1974, in the Logan Utah Temple. She worked for years as a proof reader with Rocky Mountain Bank Note Co. in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He loved reading and crossword puzzles. She was an excellent artist. She enjoyed the mountains, camping and raising flowers. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served as a visiting teacher, Relief Society secretary and as Education Counselor.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Trappett of Grace, Idaho; a brother, R. Roy Weeks of Moab, Utah; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Bennett; her parents; two sisters, Phyllis Reid and Audrey Hill and by a brother, Richard Weeks.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at noon at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
