Preston, IdahoEva K. JohnsonPreston - Eva Kirk Johnson, 87, passed away June 3, 2008 at the Heritage Home in Preston, Idaho. She was born March 19, 1921 in Franklin, Idaho to Jack and Belva Lowe Kirk. She married Kenneth G. Johnson on June 5, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. Eva loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She especially loved her grandchildren and loved to see them every chance she could. She loved quilting and sewing and many other facets of homemaking. She is survived by her children, Dan (Sally) Johnson, of St. George, UT; Clair Brad (Phyllis) Johnson, of Preston; Sidney Kim (Janet) Johnson, of Preston; nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters Bonnie Deffenbach, of Los Angeles, CA; and Ena Rae Henderson of Pocatello, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, a son Robert Johnson; two sisters Hannah Hull and Mary Carter; and two half brothers Ross and Perry Gibson.Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, in Preston. Friends may call Saturday from 12:00-12:45 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
