PRESTON, IDAHO - - ERIC HANGER
PRESTON- Eric Travis Hanger, 36, passed away on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at the Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Utah, from a pulmonary embolism. He was born July 24, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Robert Sidney and Wendy Hansen Hanger. He married Carlie Beth Davenport on Oct. 20, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later sealed in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple.
He was an Eagle Scout and member of the LDS Church. He was a private pilot and also enjoyed riding and repairing ATV's. He worked for QT&B as an air test and balance technician.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Hanger of Preston; a daughter, Shaylee Hanger of Preston; his parents, Robert and Wendy Hanger of Preston; and three sisters, Kristie (Tyler) Butterfield of West Jordan, Utah; Jessica (Justin) Harvey of Preston; and Jodi (Tim) Thorpe of Preston.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at noon in the Preston Fifth Ward Chapel, 213 S. 2nd E., Preston, with Bishop Trent Alder conducting. Friends may call Sunday from 6-7 p.m. at the church and Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. also at the church. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up at US Bank in Preston for Shaylee.
