Winder - Ellen Yvonne Almond Hodges, was born November 7, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Oscar and Nina Johnson Almond. Mom passed into eternity to be reunited with her beloved husband Keith D. Hodges on April 25, 2014.

Her last acts of kindnesses were to the new friends that she made in assisted living. Bringing her smile and warm hugs to those who were lonely and needed a lift. Mom had unshakable faith in the Lord and his gospel. She was active in the LDS Church all of her life holding and serving in many callings.

Yvonne is survived by her children Wendy Ransbottom (Jerry) of Pocatello, ID; Marvin K. Hodges (Carma) of Pleasanton, CA; Margene Edwards (Dewey) of Riverton, UT; and Dennis Hodges (Trudy) of Colorado Springs, CO; 16 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and eight brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith, a grandson Ethan Hodges, a brother Donald Almond, and a sister-in-law Virginia Burton Almond.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winder LDS Chapel with Bishop Alan Atkinson conducting. A viewing will be held on Wednesday April 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston and Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church in Winder. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
