CLEVELAND, IDAHO - - EDWIN COVERT
CLEVELAND- Edwin Wiley Covert, 68, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho from complications of sepsis. He was born Sept. 10, 1944, in Cleveland, Idaho, the son of Calvin and Marintha Ann Skinner Covert.
He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to watch old John Wayne movies. He enjoyed farming and trapping with his Dad in his younger years.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister, Theo (Sonjia) Covert of Preston, Idaho; MarLane Nance of Cleveland, Idaho; Gaylin (Lynda) Covert of Cleveland, Idaho; Mark (Debra) Covert of Grace, Idaho; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother, Larry Orr and by a brother-in-law, Gus Nance.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, from 12-2:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Graveside dedication will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the Cleveland, Idaho Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
