LOGAN, UTAH - - ED BOWDEN
LOGAN- Edwin Kay Bowden, 54, passed away on Oct. 27, 2010, at his home in Logan. He was born on May 31, 1956, in Preston, Idaho, the son of Vernal "Rusty" and Edith "Afton" Hendrickson Bowden.
He was very passionate about fishing. He never went anywhere without his fishing pole, just in case he came across the best fishing spots. When it came to camping, he always had the best camping spots. Ed just loved being in the mountains- it was his home away from home.
He was blessed to be the father of three children: Domini Kay Bowden, Tyler Lee Bowden and Christopher Scott Driscoll. Ed just loved being with his kids. He enjoyed taking Sunday drives with his children- he really didn't care the destination- just loved the drive and spending time with his kids. Family was everything to him and he was everything to his family. He was a very loving father, grandfather, stepfather and brother to all that knew him. He loved his granddaughters to the fullest.
He is survived by his daughter, Domini Bowden of Easley, South Carolina; his son, Tyler (Terrah) Bowden of Preston, Idaho; his stepson, Christopher Driscoll of Casper, Wyoming; three brothers, Vernal (Margaret) Bowden of Shelley, Idaho; Keith (Diane) Bowden of Richmond, Utah; Mark Bowden of Pocatello, Idaho; a sister, Edith (Dave) Cruz of Elk River, Minnesota; and by two granddaughters, Madison Peterson of Smithfield, Utah and Teiandra Bowden of Preston, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents.
