FRANKLIN, IDAHO EDDIE CHATTERTON

FRANKLIN- Eddie B. Chatterton, 62, passed away on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, at his home in Franklin. He was born Jan. 28, 1948, in Franklin, Idaho, the son of Cecil Wallace and Aletha Biggs Chatterton. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam Era. He married Kathy Oliverson on Dec. 30, 1978, in Franklin, Idaho.

He enjoyed hunting, riding horses and the outdoors. He also enjoyed working on the farm. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy of Franklin; three sons and one daughter, Paul Andrew of Mesa, Arizona; Eddie Shane Chatterton of Soda Springs, Idaho; Brandy (Oved) Soto of Kuna, Idaho; Erik (Heidi) Chatterton of Preston, Idaho; thirteen grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers, Hope Mylroie of Franklin; Judy (Ernest) Daley of Preston, Idaho; Terry (Sharon) Chatterton of Richmond, Utah; Steven (Debbie) Chatterton of Franklin, Idaho; Wendy (Reed) Perry of Anchorage, Alaska; and Tammie (Dan) Hooper of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, by two brothers, Bruce and DeMar Chatterton and by a sister, Pauline Rawlings.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at noon in the Franklin Stake Center with Bishop Randy Sharp conducting. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho, and Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Military rites and interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eddie at Wells Fargo Bank.
