Treasureton - Eddy Allen Perry passed away on September 8, 2014 at the age of 52.  He was born on January 22, 1962 in Preston, Idaho to DeRalph and Eunice Dunkley Perry.  He was the youngest of five children. 

 

Eddy grew up on the family farm in Treasureton where he had many fond memories of helping his father feed the cattle, taking care of his dog, hunting and exploring the hills, and riding his bike.  He attended elementary and secondary schools in Preston and graduated from High School in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  He married his high school sweetheart Sheryl Goodson from Coeur d'Alene.  They were married on April 18, 1980.

 

Ed and Sheri made their home in Treasureton where they raised their two children Nicole and Justin.  Ed retired from Presto Products after twenty-five years of employment.  Following retirement, he worked for Treasure Canyon, Preston School District and Caribou County. 

 

Ed loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed working in the outdoors and enjoyed restoring antique farm tractors.  he also liked learning about genealogy and family histories. 

 

Ed is survived by his wife Sheryl and their two children Nicole (Ricky) Theurer, of Preston; and Justin (Trisha) Perry, of Treasureton, and four loving grandchildren Shaelynn, Dylan, Carter, and Tenley who are going to miss him dearly.  He is also survived by two brothers Reed (Wendy) Perry, Brent (Christine) Perry, and his sister DeeAnne (Vern) Scott.  He is also survived by a sister-in-law Deann Perry.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother Richard, of Spokane, WA. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Riverdale 2nd Ward LDS Chapel.  A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Riverdale LDS Church.  Interment will be in the Whitney Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
