Logan - Dwight Ezra Sleight, 66, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 in Logan, Utah. He was born February 25, 1945 in Montpelier, Idaho to Theron A. and Grace Payne Sleight.

Dwight graduated from Preston High School in 1963, and then served 6 months active duty in the US Army. He served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Eastern Atlantic States from April 1964 to April 1966. After returning from his mission he spent 16 years in the National Guard. He worked for over 40 years in the dry cleaning business and attended many trade schools related to the cleaning business.

Dwight is survived by his children, Scott (Amber) Sleight, of Millville, UT; Stephanie Sleight, of Warner Robins, GA; Timothy Sleight, of Layton, UT; Andrea (Randy) Jones, of West Point, UT; and Blake (Alison) Sleight, of Holladay, UT; nine grandchildren, siblings, LaMar (Sharma) Sleight, of Vienna, VA; Sharon (Jerry) Whitehead, of Franklin, ID; Carol (Bill) Reeve, of Midway, UT; and his dear friend, Maureen Hollingsworth, of Preston; and Michael Hollingsworth, Cindy (Garth) Jacobson, and Jeff Hollingsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Patricia Sleight.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home.
