OXFORD, IDAHO Donna Sharp Kendall

Donna Sharp Kendall, age 88, went to be with her Savior and many loved ones on Friday, November 27, 2009 at her home in Oxford. She was born as the 4th child on May 15, 1921 to Alvin Joseph and Lorna Eliza Watson Sharp, in Mapleton, Idaho. She married W. Merl Kendall November 15, 1938 in the Logan Temple. Merl passed away February 29, 2000 at home in Oxford, Idaho.

- Donna enjoyed having her family close to her. She enjoyed cooking and always had a nice garden. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and crocheting. She held many positions in the Church. She taught Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society. She served in both the Primary and Relief Society presidencies and a humanitarian aid assistant. She also enjoyed serving as a visiting teacher throughout her life.

- Donna loved her family and was always interested in what was going on in their lives. She will be remembered and missed by all of us. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

- She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and one brother. She was also preceded by a grandson and a son in law. Donna is survived by her children, Dirk (Kay) Kendall of Sunset, UT, Ronnie (Wendy) Kendall of Oxford, ID, Joan Kendall of West Haven, UT, Rex (Dixie) Kendall of Oxford, ID, and Beth McCombs of Oxford, ID. She had 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Donna is also survived by her brothers, Owen (Donna) Sharp of Fairview, ID, Clyde (Clarice) Sharp of Clinton, UT, and by a sister in law, Carma Nielsen of Ogden UT.

- Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Clifton Second Ward chapel at 12:00 noon. Viewings will be held at the church in Clifton on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm and on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30 am prior to the funeral services. Interment will be in the Oxford Cemetery.
