Dixie Marie lzatt Carter Anderson

 Born on October 20, 1939, to Keith Alexander lzatt and Agnes Marie Porter on her grandparent’s fruit farm in Franklin, Idaho.

Her father was killed in an industrial accident on November 25, 1939, and she lived with her grand- parents (the Porters) until she was 5. Dixie’s mother then remarried to Stan Carter, and they were blessed to be welcomed by a wonderful family as the Carters.

 She married Rex C. Anderson of Richmond, Utah on August 31, 1957, and Dixie was again blessed to welcome 3 beautiful kids. 

Dixie is survived by her children, Debra Mary (Greg Finch), Henderson, Nev., Kenneth Rex (Julie), Boise Idaho, and Stanley Keith Anderson, Richmond, Utah (named in honor of her beloved father), and a brother Alan Carter (Charmaine). She was preceded in death by her husband of 54yrs (Rex), and her parents.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E., Preston, Idaho.  There will be a viewing Monday from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home.  Dixie will be laid to rest next to Rex in the Richmond cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
