Preston - Dewey E. Jones, 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Logan, Utah on Sunday, December 22, 2013. He was born on January 22, 1935 in Laramie, Wyoming to Ervin D. Van Cleave and Vonda Jones. He married Stella M. Huskey in 1974.
Dewey enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1954 and served 20 years. He was an active member of the Preston Elks Lodge and was also a member of the LDS Church. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them.
He is survived by his children David (Joyce) Jones, Laura (Bill) Helber, Kenneth Jones, his step-children Tim (Laura) Whitmore, John Whitmore, Bonnie (Larry) Dixon, Denise (Tim) Barrett, and Collen (Robert) Duncan. He is also survived by 20 grand children and 10 great grandchildren, and two sisters Babe Stearns, and Shirley Poulter, and a brother Ron Benson.
