Dennis H. Webster, 67, died Monday, November 6th from injuries sustained in an accident on his beloved farm outside Preston, Idaho. He was born on January 23, 1950, the son of Blain Webster and Leona Hansen Webster.
The farm in Glendale where he was raised and worked on his entire life was one of his great loves. He loved basketball and was part of the Preston High School 1968 state championship team. Following high school he served an LDS mission to the New England States. He then joined and served in the National Guard. On October 22, 1971 he married his high school sweetheart, Beth Orme in the Logan, Utah Temple. They had 5 children.
Dennis loved his farm up Glendale. He loved fishing and enjoyed hunting, especially pheasants. He carried his love of basketball throughout his life and coached his son’s Junior Jazz teams. The grandkids loved to come and fish with grandpa. He loved family and worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for them. He had an incredibly generous spirit. Following the death of his wife, Beth, he met and married the second love of his life, Karen Dunn. They married on February 14, 2008 in the Logan, Utah Temple. They enjoyed attending the temple together. The highlight of their lives together was when grandchildren came to visit.
Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Beth; mother, Leona; brother, Steven and brother-in-law, Scott Page.
He is survived by his father, Blain Webster of Preston, Idaho; wife, Karen Webster of Preston, Idaho; sister, Janet (Scott) Page of Columbus, Ohio; and by his children, Jenny (Levi) Fisk of Houston, Texas; DeAnn (Brady) Campbell of Hailey, Idaho; Brian (Melissa) Webster of Wellsville, Utah; Matt (Courtney) Webster of Preston, Idaho; and Jed (Whitney) Webster of Madera, California; and his step-children Millie (Andy) Martinez of La Porte, Colorado; Betsy (Blair) Buttars of Franklin, Idaho; Jill (Kory) Cox, Taylorsville, Utah and Tia Dunn of Salt Lake City, Utah; Candace (Dallas Peterson) Dunn, and 26 grandchildren.
He was a great example to his friends and neighbors and will be missed by all who knew him. We will always love you, Dennis.
