Debra Lee Swann

Debra Lee Pettitt Swann, 66, of Mink Creek, ID passed away on April 9, 2017. Debby was born Feb 3, 1951 in Riverside, CA, the daughter of Roland Alexander and Enda Katherine (Gren) Pettitt, she was the second of two children. She attended Riverside Community College, BYU and studied a semester abroad in France. She married Reed Christensen Swann Jan 22, 1972 in the Los Angeles Temple. They are the parents of Penny, of Mink Creek, ID and Charles and his wife Sarah of Lewiston, UT. She has three grandchildren, David, Eli and Gwen.

As a teenager, she sang and played guitar with The Young Idea singing group. She taught piano lessons for many years, was an accomplished seamstress and cook. She loved to learn new things and was always studying something. She served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life. She blessed the lives of all around her with her ready smile and positive attitude. She was especially loved by her grandchildren, whom she was devoted to.

She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren, as well as by her brother, Roland Dale Pettitt and his wife Suzi of Long Beach, CA and is preceded in death by her parents who have been waiting patiently for her to arrive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mink Creek Ward Chapel with Bishop Kurt Iverson conducting.  Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 8th East, Preston, Idaho and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
