Dariel G Seamons passed away on Wednesday, April 3rd in the peace and comfort of his home surrounded by family.
Dariel was born on Tuesday, August 14th, 1934 to Leo Martin Seamons and Florence Pratt Griffeth. His sister NaDean had just turned three a few months earlier. Dariel is survived by his wife, Luann Bodily Seamons and his two daughters, Margo Seamons and Debra Seamons. He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister, NaDean Seamons Davis.
Dariel loved his family. Everything he did was with them in mind. He worked a variety of jobs to provide for his family’s needs. He valued spending time with family – working together, learning and growing together, enjoying one another’s company.
A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a mission in the Southwest Indian Mission in Arizona and New Mexico where he grew to love the good people of the land. He served faithfully in a variety of callings. And he always looked for ways to help and care for others.
Dariel’s education began in the old Dayton Grade School and continued through to the Salt Lake Community College where he studied all things related to home construction and building methods.
Dariel enjoyed photography, woodworking, reading, playing games with friends and family, gardening, hiking, hunting, and fishing.
He could find anything that was lost, repair anything that was broken, and make anything that was needed
Dariel was a gentle and kind man; a loving husband, friend, and partner to Luann, the best dad anyone could ever have to Margo and Debra. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
