Dan LaMar Bennett

Dan LaMar Belnap Bennett, 38, passed away Sept. 24, 2016, in Logan, Utah. He was born Aug. 22, 1978, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Michael DeLos Bennett and Cynthia Nelson. He married Leslie Dunkley and they had two children together, Jada and Mace. They were later divorced. He worked as a welder, and he loved sports, especially baseball. He also enjoyed the outdoors — hunting and fishing. He is survived by his two children, Jada and Mace Bennett of Preston; his mother, Cindy Bennett of Logan, Utah; his two fathers, Dan (Kelleen) Belnap of Smithfield, Utah, and Michael (Jennifer) Bennett of Preston; a brother, Kelly Bennett of Logan; two sisters, Lori (Dustin) James of McCammon, Idaho, and Cecilee (Christopher Nielson) Bennett of Richmond, Utah. He was preceded in death by a sister, Stacie Lovell, and by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State St., Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East, Preston, and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center.
