PRESTON, IDAHO CURTIS KELLER

PRESTON- Curtis 'B' Keller, 94, passed away on March 25, 2011, at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston. He was born to goodly parents, Emanuel Christopher Keller and Mildred Bennett on Jan. 22, 1917, in Glencoe, Idaho. He married Elsie (Anna Elsie) Andersen Christensen on June 25, 1941, in the Logan Temple. Curtis and Elsie were married 69 years prior to her death.

Curtis was from a family of eleven children, seven brothers and three sisters. His parents and eight siblings preceded him in death. He spent his early years on the Keller family farm in Mink Creek, Idaho where he learned sacrifice, devotion to family, hard work and faith in God. He was a hard worker and placed the welfare of his family first and gave them his best. Curtis sold farm machinery for 60 years in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.

He is survived by his children, Curtis Anthony (Kathie) Keller of Soda Springs, Idaho; Barbara Ann (Gordon) Nelson of Brigham City, Utah; Rosemary (George) Fewell of North Ogden, Utah; Kevin E. (Carol) Keller of Preston; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Vernon and Parmer Keller and one siter, Letha Parish.

During his earthly sojourn, Curtis saw many great changes. He witnessed it all, from the horse and buggy days to the space shuttle. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren always loved to hear about his favorite horse's and his first car, an Essex that cost $150... ..those stories and memories are a treasure for family members. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . He moved from Mink Creek to Preston in 1949 and has been a member of the Preston Second Ward for 61 years.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at noon in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st S., Preston with Bishop Mark Beckstead conducting. Friends may Wednesday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
