Craig A. Lowe

Craig A. Lowe, 61, passed away in his home after battling cancer on April 1, 2016. Craig was born August 13, 1954 to Bruce L. Lowe and Ardys Andreason Atkinson. Craig was raised in Franklin on his grandfathers mink farm and attended grade school in Franklin and graduated from Preston High in 1972. After graduating he attended ISU College of Technology in upholstery. Two years later he married his high school sweetheart Nancy Randall on March 22, 1974. Together they had three children, Tiffany, Craig Jr, and Jed. Craig worked for Atkinson's Upholstery and then at the family mink farm with his father. After pelting out of the mink business Craig opened his own business, Lowe's Upholstery.

Craig was an avid sportsman. He loved hunting and fishing. He was an expert snow and water skier and was an exceptional pool player and bowler and played on many leagues throughout his life. Craig was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He and his wife Nancy were sealed to each other and their children on their 40th wedding anniversary on March 22, 2013. Craig was active in his ward and held a calling in the Sunday school presidency. Throughout his life he held other callings in the cub scout program and was a home teacher. Craig loved attending church services on Sunday and especially loved bearing his testimony. He loved the Franklin second ward and he loved the people of Franklin. Craig was voted friendliest in high school, and carried that title with him throughout his life. Craig was friends to all and loved to tell jokes and pull pranks.

He is survived by his sweetheart Nancy of Franklin, Id, and their two children, Tiffany (Joe) Cardall of Cub River and Jed (Nicole) Lowe of Franklin, ID; and by 13 grandchildren who were the love of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Ardys Atkinson, of Layton, UT; and his siblings Candice (Burke) Burns, of Whitney, ID; Caron (Ed) Bowles, of Fairview, ID; Jill (Neal) Larson, of Preston; Dawnita Atkinson and Donald Atkinson of Layton, UT.
