Corbin Adrian Hillaker was reunited with our Heavenly Father on February 19, 2017. He was born on March 28, 2001 to Bradlee Hillaker and Summer Layton in Ogden, Utah. From the moment he was born he brought so much joy and happiness to everyone that knew him. He could make anyone laugh in any situation. He chose to find the positive in everything, which we all need to take his lead from.
Corbin was proceeded in death by his Grandma Roxy, Grandpa Rick and siblings; Jessica and McCoy Spillett. Corbin is survived by his mother, Summer Spillett (Preston, ID) and his father, Bradlee and wife Natasha Hillaker, (West Wendover, NV), siblings, Kaeleigh Hillaker (Harrison, UT) and Mackenzie and Paxton Hillaker (West Wendover, NV), grandfather, Adrian Layton (Layton, UT), grandmother Laurie Hillaker (Syracuse, UT), grandparents Dave and Annette Murphy (West Wendover, NV), great- grandparents Pat and Karen Hillaker (Uinta, UT) and Ralph and Bea Santillanez (Wendover) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Corbin attended Preston High School and was currently in his sophomore year. Corbin was happiest when he was outdoors. Corbin lived every day to the fullest. He was always up for any adventure whether it be air soft, hiking, rappelling, and most recently bull riding. He had a love for old trucks and country music. He was incredibly knowledgable about the outdoor survival. He loved going into the mountains with just a sleeping bag, a knife and some MREs. He was the best older brother anyone could ask for. He would spend hours building Legos with his brother and was always so helpful to all his siblings.
Corbin was taken from us way too soon, but we will cherish and hold on to all the wonderful memories we have of him. Corbin had a gentle soul and we are blessed and thankful for the impact he had on us. He will forever live on in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27th at 11 a.m. at the Wendover LDS Church, 341 Moriah Ave, Wendover, Utah. The family is requesting guests wear camo, hunting or cowboy wear to the funeral in honor of Corbin. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
