Conna Kendall Klippert, 95, passed away August 7, 2018 at the Heritage Home in Preston, Idaho. She was born November 11, 1922 in Downey, Idaho the daughter of William Edwin and Ethel Julean Millard Klippert.
She was the oldest of two sets of twins in her family. She graduated from Preston High School and worked at Yellowstone National Park. She married Myrl William Klippert on March 3, 1942 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Myrl was later drafted into World War II leaving Conna to take care of their son while Myrl was in the war. She worked at Ralph’s Café in Preston to support their family during World War II.
She was a wonderful seamstress, homemaker and cook. She always raised a large and beautiful garden. She enjoyed poetry, reading and camping. She also loved to travel. She and Myrl served for twelve years in the Logan Temple. They always dated throughout their marriage of over 75 years. She also loved family history, genealogy and extraction. She was blessed with good health her whole life. Conna was always serving others and she taught her children to serve others as well.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters, William L. (Jane) Klippert of Nibley, Utah; Karen (Ken) Hobbs of Preston; Linda (Kenn) Hansen of Cub River, Idaho; Donna (Scott) Hill of McMinnville, Oregon; Dave (Anita) Klippert of Benson, Utah; Kim Galvez of Provo, Utah; by 19 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrl, and by two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E., Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
