Colten Clyde Frazier was born on September 12, 1997, in Logan, Utah. A true Utah’n, who experienced the beautiful outdoors as much as possible; hunting, fishing and loving every day. Colten passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2025, at the young age of 27. He will be deeply missed by many friends and family.
Colten was Superman! His heart was pure, and his muscles were big. Colten was a 4.0 student and graduated from Bear River High School in 2016. Colten was a loving father to his three-year-old daughter Remi, and to his two-year-old son Ruger. Colten was a loving partner to Jessica Kay Roberts and opened his arms wide to her son Bowen. Colten’s children and his hunting dog Tank were the greatest joys in his life.
Colten grew up in Thatcher and in Garland Utah with his father Dustin, his mother Melissa, his sister Tayler, and his two brothers, Brock, and Jake. Colten was the oldest child in his family, and taught his brothers, his sister, and his friends many of his talents. Colten was a brilliant kid, who won every family board game and achieved many things in his life. Colten spent his childhood camping, hunting, fishing, playing sports and many other activities with family and friends. Colten had an incredible talent for hunting and fishing; in fact, he was magnificent at it. Some may know Colten as “The Goose King”. Colten has hunted thousands of birds and has caught thousands of fish over the course of his life.
He was an Eagle Scout and was awarded The Arrow of Light in his youth. He completed many merit badges, one of which was a cement project which he worked on and finished with his father. As an adult, Colten loved to play poker in Wendover. One of Colten’s favorite past times was playing video games. If he wasn’t gaming with friends, he was usually outside doing something fun with friends and family. Colten was a hardworking man, an excellent businessman who owned Red Rhino Tree Care. Colten sure did love cutting down big trees with his dad and his brother. He was an adventurous man, travelling to Arkansas and Washington with his family where he created lifelong memories. Colten’s life is one to be celebrated!
Colten is survived by his mother, Melissa Smith, his father, Dustin Frazier, his brother’s, Brock, and Jake, and his sister, Tayler, his grandparents, Clyde and Patty Smith, and Mandy Fullmer, and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
