Preston, Idaho - - - Clea T. Swainston
Preston - On September 8, 2011, our dear Father in Heaven came to take our dear, beautiful, kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend Clea Martha Page Taylor Swainston back into His presence. She was born on October 8, 1931 in Preston, Idaho to Henry Sterling and Martha Demoine Sparrow Page. She grew up in the Preston area and attended Preston Schools. She married Ervon LaMar Taylor on May 28, 1949. They were blessed with three children, Linda, Debra, and Michael. LaMar preceded her in death. She later married Rhyl Swainston. He also preceded her in death.
They lived in Ogden, Utah where they raised their children. They later moved back to Preston. She worked at Wansgards Food Center in the bakery where she had many friends. She later worked at Presto, where she retired. She also worked at the Heritage Home in Preston. She loved have her hair done by her sister and it gave her time to be with family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Clea was very loving and giving to all around her. She resided at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston where she had lived for six years. She was loved by all there. She loved her family and loved the nic nacs that they brought her. Clea loved to read and going to the library every week to get books.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Dennis) Parry, of Ogden, UT; Debra (Robert) Fitzgerald, of Tremonton, UT; and Michael Taylor, of Preston, ID; a brother Glenn (Beth) Page, of Montpelier, ID; six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, and sisters Marilynn (Dale) Waddoups, and Joann (Boyd) Golightly, of Preston, ID; step children Janet (Lynn) Millard, of Ogden, UT; Patty Swainston, of Newton, UT; Elaine Swainston, of Logan, UT; and Nathan (Phillis) Swainston, of San Rafel, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands LaMar and Rhyl, and a son Alan Swainston.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, and Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
