FRANKLIN- Claine Murray Archibald, 85, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at his home in Franklin. He was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Wellsville, Utah, to Allen Hendry and Anna Laura Murray Archibald. He was the fourth child in a family of seven.
Claine served his country in the Army during World War II. He married Patsy LaDel Sorenson on Nov. 16, 1951, in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a farmer and heavy equipment operator working a number of years in the construction industry.
Claine is survived by his wife, Patsy, of 58 years; two sisters, Ruth Aston of Dayton, Idaho; DeAnn (Blaine) Olsen of Hyrum, Utah; and by a brother, Garth Archibald of Wellsville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, by three brothers, Virgil, Allen, and George Murray Archibald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2009 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida in Preston. A viewing will be held Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home prior to the services. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
