Charlene Broschinsky Bishop
September 9, 1944 – August 28, 2022
Charlene, loving wife and mother returned to her heavenly Father on Sunday, August 28th, 2022, after a valiant battle with kidney disease. She married her eternal partner, Donald Irving Bishop in the Salt Lake Temple on December 16th, 1966. She graduated from Highland High School in 1963, attended Stevens Henager College and Brigham Young University. She had a short secretarial career before taking on the challenge of raising children and following her husband all over the country.
After raising children, she returned to the workforce as a Certified Nurses Aid, caring for the elderly and infirmed. After retirement, she served two missions with her husband for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She especially enjoyed playing piano for her family.
She is survived and will be missed by her doting husband and loving “obedient” children Stephany Cook (Jimmy), Machiel Rhinehart (Bill), Christopher I. Bishop (Rachelle), Jonathan I. Bishop (Tonia), Charles I. Bishop (Stacey), Nathan I. Bishop, 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She has been reunited with her parents, Charles Edward Broschinsky and Evelyn Thorpe Broschinsky and her brother Carl Broschinsky, who preceded her to her heavenly home.
